Case Study #1: Staff Professional Development Training
Profile: A CME director sought a professional development training program for the staff she managed.
Goal: AOE was charged with design of a comprehensive training program that provided an overview of the CME enterprise and guidance on CME Best Practices within each staff member’s respective role.
Results: The training program designed by AOE increased staff productivity and organizational efficiencies. The training program also served as the foundation for an abstract accepted at the upcoming 2011 Alliance Meeting related to CME staff development.

Case Study #2: Individual CCMEP Training
Profile: A group of CME Professionals, independently, sought training and resources to prepare for the CCMEP exam.
Goal: Working with a diverse audience, representing multiple stakeholder groups within the CME Enterprise, AOE set out to facilitate an interactive learning environment with the AOE Prep Course for individuals looking to earn their CCMEP designation.
Results: Twenty-four individuals from 17 separate CME organizations, including hospitals, societies, and medical education and communication companies participated in the individual Prep Course. A pass-rate of 99%was achieved and recurring feedback indicated the course was relevant, engaging, and applicable to participant’s daily responsibilities.
