Are there any compliance concerns with extending the deadline to claim credit?

As the accredited provider, it is your responsibility to determine the deadline to claim credit for your accredited CE activity–so the power to extend a deadline is in your hands.  With that said, providers are encouraged to report completed CME credits to the ACCME via PARS within 30 days of the activity’s end date.  Thirty days after the activity’s end date, credit cannot be reported via PARS.  If you extend a credit claiming deadline to your learners, make sure that final date falls within the 30-day period.
