What are the ABIM requirements for peer review and the required credentials of the reviewers?

“Peer review” means that the educational materials are reviewed by other clinicians who are sufficiently familiar with the material to be able to render an opinion as to whether they’re fair, accurate and free of commercial bias.  Neither the requirements nor the ACCME dictates who needs to provide a peer review – that’s at the discretion and professionalism of the CME provider.
