A faculty member for our CME/CE activity just accepted a position with an ACCME-defined Commercial Interest, but the employment doesn’t begin until after the activity is over. Can this individual still participate?

If the faculty member is not receiving any financial compensation (any amount) from the commercial interest presently, there does not need to be disclosure of this relationship, per the ACCME.  It would be a best practice to inform the individual that the new employment status will likely prohibit participation in future CME/CE planning and presenting, however.
