Multidisciplinary education may speak to multiple disciplines or even target audiences, but IPCE is truly education that’s planned by the healthcare team, for the healthcare team. An IPCE team would consist of representatives from multiple professions that represent the target audience, and an IPCE initiative would be designed to change healthcare team competency and performance.
