For the activities I have registered for MOC via PARS, what information do I need to collect about each participating learner?

Providers should collect the following information for each learner who is a board-certified physician in order to report accurate participant completion data in PARS:

  • Date of completion
  • Physician’s specialty board-assigned ID (Those learners who do not know their number can retrieve it from their specialty board’s website or by contacting their board directly.)
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Date of birth (month/day)

Important note: In addition to collecting the data listed above, you must also obtain permission from each physician learner to share this completion information with the ACCME.  On their website, the ACCME states that, “this information is used to ensure that the data is accurate and valid, and associated with the correct board-certified diplomate when it is being reported to the board.”
