The assigned UAN number is comprised of these sequential elements:
– The ACPE provider identification number
– The cosponsor designation number (000 for no cosponsor, 999 for all cosponsors)
– The year of program development
– The sequential number of the program from among the new programs developed that year
– The format (L – live activities, H – home study, B – activities that contain both)
– Topic designators (01 – drug therapy related, 02 – AIDS therapy related, etc.)
