Do ALL of my learners have to complete the MATE Act requirement? Who does it NOT apply to?

The clinicians who are required to fulfill the MATE Act requirement are all DEA-registered practitioners (veterinarians are excepted, however).  The clinicians who are deemed to have already satisfied this requirement are 1) physicians who are board-certified in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry, 2) any practitioner who graduated within 5 years of June 27, 2023, or 3) any practitioner who has had their license renewed within 5 years of June 27, 2023 AND completed a curriculum including eight or more hours of classes regarding SUD.
