Does the ACCME accredit individual activities?

No.  The ACCME accredits organizations that produce CME activities.  The accreditation process includes the review of CME activities for the demonstration of compliance with the ACCME’s requirements.  For more information, check out the ACCME’s description of the accreditation process for first-time applicants here:

Weekly Compliance Tip

Does demonstrating compliance with C28 have to take place at the activity level?

The ACCME does not expect providers to demonstrate compliance with C28 at the activity level.  The provider must sufficiently demonstrate how collaborations improve its ability to speak to population health issues, however.
