Does the ACCME allow providers to combine abstracts (for no CE credit) and advertising in the same handout?

Possibly.  If the abstracts are mentioned during a CE activity or function at all as CE content, then no, the handout cannot contain advertising.  However, if the abstracts are not referenced as part of the CE, then it’s ok for them to appear alongside advertising.  (Standard 2: Prevent Commercial Bias and Marketing in Accredited Continuing Education)
