Does the ACCME exclude internationally based organizations from applying for Initial Accreditation?

The ACCME accredits various internationally based organizations.  Providers headquartered outside of the U.S./its territories “are required to attend one of the ACCME’s live educational activities prior to the submission of the application for Initial Accreditation and before the organization would be scheduled for an Initial Accreditation review.”  Annually, these include the ACCME Accreditation Workshop and Learn to Thrive events; international providers should mark their calendars, accordingly.
