Does the ACCME require us to pay honoraria to outside experts that participate in our activities?

The ACCME does not outline compensation requirements for accredited providers–i.e., there is no policy that says you must pay anyone honoraria, nor how much must be paid.  However, you need to ensure that any honoraria covered by commercial support is justifiable and complies with ACCME’s Standard 4 guidelines.
