Clinicians can enter their 10-digit National Provider Identifier (NPI) number in the CMS lookup tool to determine their status in the Quality Payment Program (QPP).

Note: Some clinicians are not required to participate in additional Improvement Activities if they are in organizations that are already participating in Advanced Alternative Payment Models (Advanced APMs) or meeting MIPS requirements through other methods.
