Your activity may qualify as a Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Improvement Activity if the following qualifications are met:
- It addresses a quality or safety gap.
- It uncovers educational needs that – when addressed – can help close that gap.
- It articulates what your participation in the activity seeks to improve.
- It includes methods to help achieve that improvement.
- It evaluates the impact of the education on improving performance and/or quality.
