Actually, no. Organizations do need to be accredited (and in good standing!) by one of the main three boards to pursue Joint Accreditation.
Additionally, your organization is eligible only when:
- Your structure and processes surrounding IPCE have been in place for (at minimum) the past 18 months.
- At least 25% of your educational activities over the 18-month period can be categorized as “interprofessional” (including multiple professions represented in the planning process).
- You can demonstrate compliance with the Joint Accreditation Criteria.
