Is it ok for an accredited provider to get topic or speaker suggestions for CE from an ineligible company?

The ACCME is clear on this: CE providers cannot receive any kind of guidance from an ineligible company about CE content or about who should deliver that content.  If the provider receives suggestions, it would be considered unacceptable to act on the suggestion.  If the provider implements the suggestions, the independence of the CE would be undermined.  Every CE provider must work to ensure that the content and the process of developing CE remains beyond the control of any ineligible company.
