If our organization has already resolved relevant conflicts of interest, what else is left to disclose?

The ACCME describes informed learners as “the final safeguards” when it comes to assuring that CME activity is free from commercial influence.  Even with appropriate identification and resolution mechanisms in place, the potential for conflicts of interest still exists!  Disclosing, communicating, to learners the conflicts that were present and resolved allows them to assess the potential for bias in the information presented.
