While not ideal, you should be able to make a small venue work in compliance with ACCME’s Standard 5.2a, which includes a note that “activities that are part of the event but are not accredited for continuing education must be clearly communicated and labeled as such.” Effective measures might include clear signage to identify respective spaces, directing event flow so that learners don’t need to pass by or through the exhibit space before arriving to the accredited CE presentation room, closing doors, or soundproofing areas so that exhibit conversations aren’t disruptive to educational presentations.
