What are the required qualifications for a Lead Nurse Planner?

A Lead Nurse Planner (LNP) should be a registered nurse who holds a current, unencumbered nursing license and a graduate degree, with either the baccalaureate or graduate degree in nursing.  They should have authority within a Provider Unit to ensure adherence to the ANCC’s Accreditation Program Criteria.
