The ACCME states that the CME team does not necessarily have to be the group to take on the lead on the management of the research project. They further clarify that, in order to comply with this criterion, the research must be related to the effectiveness of and/or best practices in CME.
To comply with the Engages in Research/Scholarship Commendation Criterion, does my CME team have to be the group that leads and analyzes the research itself? Or can a different group (within the accredited provider) do that part?
