What is meant by the “other/blended learning activity” format?

This term is reserved for accredited CE activities that don’t fall into one of the existing/established activity types.  If your accredited CE activity blends existing activity types (e.g., a hybrid activity that is part live course, part enduring material) and/or utilizes a unique technology to instruct learners (like simulation, virtual reality, or gamification), “other/blended learning activity” is an appropriate format selection.  Make sure your team identifies the activity as such in all program materials, credit designation statements, and in PARS.
