When adding information into PARS, what competencies will be available for selection?

Providers can select from the IOM competencies, the ABMS/ACGME competencies, and/or others.  Many organizations often use the ABMS/ACGME competencies (there is much overlap with these and the IOM’s), unless their organization has more specific competency areas they have developed.  Some associations have very specific competency areas they address with their education, which are more topic-specific in a particular medical specialty.
