When should an activity be registered for ABIM MOC credit? Before or after the activity?

According to the ACCME, any time of the year is fine – before the event or at the end of the year or an interval.  But for credit to appear in the learner profile, it should be registered in advance if possible.  Another good reason for registering ahead of time:  Clinicians will be more easily able to find out about the activity.
